Salamah has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and 23 years of experience in EH&S and Sustainability. He is leading the sustainability group to support the organization in setting the corporate sustainability strategy, Sustainability and ESG disclosure, stakeholder engagement, national & international sustainable development goals alignment, and support the implementation of sustainability practices. He also leads the Performance & Disclosure sub-committee, one of the other functional committees reporting to the Sadara Sustainability council. He was instrumental in developing Sadara’s five-year sustainability strategy (2021 – 2025). In addition, he established the sustainability structure, system and GHG framework.

He played a pivotal role in helping Sadara win the First place of King Khalid Sustainability Award 2021 and the First place of Royal Commission Environmental Award (Primary industry in Jubail) for best environmental performance 2020.

He also led the development and implementation of ISO 14001, RC 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001, receiving those certificates.
