Abdullah is a sustainability-oriented engineer with a global outlook. He graduated with a Chemical & Biological Engineering Bachelor’s degree and started his career at SABIC AgriNutrients manufacturing division. He worked as an operation engineer for four years, where his work revolved around six key values: Safety, sustainability, reliability, continual improvement, production and cost-effectiveness. He believes the importance of effective ESG measures exceeded that of production and commercial gains. Through analysing the value chain and engaging in global platforms, Abdullah developed a well-rounded ESG approach and assessed the areas of improvement. He is part of a selected group overseeing the first roll-out of the SABIC AN ESG integrated report.
